The becomming of a consultant agency

The goal for praQtice International has always been to be the European leader in practice management. It was formed in 2000 and the strategy was to bring together the best International consultants to work with business development within practices. Today, nine years later, the original objective has been achieved, but the dream has expanded and we now work within several industries and multiple countries. The focus however is still the same and has always been to create quality of life in practice for the owners, employees and patients, but also for our consultants themselves.
Respect for the individual
We at praqtice dream of creating a better workplace, and a lifestyle with respect for individual choices and a balance between work and leisure. We work with a well-defined core of values and attitudes which empower and motivate us. All praQtice employees have jointly defined working hours, work content, and holiday pay. We regularly meet our international consultants this helps us constantly develop new products, projects and ideas.
No roses without thorns
It has not been easy especially in the beginning, because it was difficult to find customers who believed that we could make a difference. So the first seven clinics we worked with on a no cure or improvement no pay basis, effectively the clinics did not have to pay unless they were happy with the work we had a achieved and they felt we had made a difference, they all paid!. However we did learn some lessons that not only did we have to focus on the performance within the practice, but also on quality of life. By doing this it has enabled us to improve not only the bottom line, but the owners and staff work life balance.
